They also had a cult following that would shame this s-nonsense, still enjoy much much higher resale (even relatively), and, oh yeah, didn't get killed off by Nissan for being economically irrelevant.
I was actually going to say something about the z32 chassis and how superior it was to any s chassis but then I remembered how ugly they were and opted not to.
