I have a side job working for a local home improvement store, and all I kept hearing was how my co-workerd dad's 2001 cobra with "a lot" done to it - would walk all over my little Camaro. After all he had a 97 WS6 - so he knew mine wouldn't keep up with the cobra. So he brought it last night and proceeded to tell me "We are going to run after work" - so it was on!

Went out and took a look at the car. Yellow 01 cobra convertible with 18's, body kit, funky hood with a sharpie signature on the top, jasper racing stickers on the qtr windows, and exhaust. He also had "one of those intake things" (found out he meant throttle body, lol) - underdrive pulleys, chip, K&N, and gears. He said it dyno'd 320 stock, so now it should be 350 at least! lol.

From about 7 til 10 PM there was more shit talking then a presidential debate. All night, every time he passed nearby - I told him he had nothing for me, that he should go check the mirror because he might want to remember what he looked like when he still had some confidence. I told him not to be nervous, it will only hurt a little, lol! He would say that his 350 HP cobra was going to make a snack out of my slomaro... It was fun, lol!

Anyway we went and made a round since our store is very close to the track - and proceeded to go from a 1st gear 10-15 mph roll.....

Pulled slightly in first - two cars in second, and kept pulling and pulling in third... He rolled past giving a big thumbs up with a look like WTF just happened?!?!?

LOL! - A fun night for a Tuesday! And work is going to be a lot more fun from now on!
