not necessarily....there's plenty of exhaust shops that will install it too, you just gotta find the backyard "good ole boy" shops that don't give a shit...when I got my cat-back system put on the first thing the guy asked me was "you gonna keep that cat?..cuse we'll tear it right off there if ya want and put in a straight pipe"...that was in Gainesville though but i'm sure plenty of places in the tampa area will do it......
