PT, I wonder if "upper echelon" means "higher priced"? LOL
It's easy to tell the difference at an all 'Vette show, otherwise a lot of people think
'Vettes all look alike with minor chrome/paint differences......
"and those are the cars we don't want here". ....LOL!.....sounds like 'vette driver is
trying to elevate himself in status by giving put-downs....since a 'vette is not an
exotic......LOL
Otto,
Like you, I respect the time someone puts into his car. If they are happy with it,
I'm happy with it. I usually stay away from people who think they have status, since
the only status people have, is the status you are willing to give them. I'm not
slobbering over a bone stock exotic with the hood shut and windows up when I can
see the same car at the dealers showroom. I do admire some of the so-called "ricer"
cars down south,... where the owner cleaned and polished his entire car and engine
....and I admire that he did it all HIMSELF. But if you've seen me at a meet, I look at
EVERYBODY'S car, even those that are ordinary. I have more friends and shoot more
bull with the ordinary guys.
Pat yourself on the back Otto,
I know you from a few previous shows/meets down south and I admire your positive
attitude, coming out, inviting friends and trying to make the meet a success......I hope you keep doing it.
.....I just had a fantasy vision.......
the "non-exotics" parked across the street were having a great time and out numbered
the exotics.....LOL

I think that's humorous.....like a certain meet around here where uninvited Japanese
cars were having such a good time in their own corner with their hoods up socializing
and eating pizza, .......that the other guys started joining THEM.....
