Would they really contract that much? It's not really cold out.

Might want to change the belts anyhow, just in case. My wagon had a squeaking belt, determined it was the alternator belt, bought all new belts. 2 days later, it stopped squeaking, because the belt broke! Fortunately I had the belts in the car, so I just changed it when I got where I was going.

Dunno...could be your PS pump needing fluid, mine squeals when it has drained (I have a leak). Fillerup and it stops squeaking.
