I work on suspensions and springs.

I recommend that people first buy their springs and then get wheels to fit.
It has been a heartbreaker for some people to first get wheels too tall or too wide, and then they cannot lower the car.

I would need to see your car to give you a better answer......also......it may say 2.25", but sometimes it really won't be,
depending on the brand of shocks that you use and where the spring perch is located.

What brand of springs are you considering?-Bob
