Yeah, those people are called 'stupid'. Its a car. What a 16 year old needs to focus on is it being reliable, safe, and good on insurance/gas. Hes not going to build anything in highschool that he can daily drive thats going to beat anything except the other 16 second Civics in his highschool parking lot, so might as well make a smart decision with his first car.
