Default FS/FT Heavily Modded '07 Honda Ruckus $2500obo

Not exactly the first post I wanted to leave, but I've been lurking long enough and this seems like the right place to list a Honda Ruckus. This scooter has been nothing but fun for me the last 4 years, but I need to upgrade to something with 2 more wheels and I don't have the money to do it outright and I'd rather not have a car payment. Long story short, I lived in downtown Charlotte, NC from '06-'10 and didn't need a car, so I bought a Honda Ruckus and called it good; moved to Holiday last March and now realize that I need something faster in order to get around here better. lol. As far as I know, this is the fastest stock bore Ruckus in FL (55mph GPS verified & 50 maintained on flats)! Here's what it's got:

- '04 P&P head w/ HO cam and custom intake port contouring (to match bigger carb manifold)
- CDI (increases timing and eliminates the rev limiter)
- Lightened Flywheel
- HMF exhaust that could use some attention
- Imported Racing Service Zero variator (controls gear ratio and has been the best I've used thus far!)
- PC20 carb (+5mm over stock carb bore)
- NCY front disc brakes w/ Honda Dio rim
- Stage6 black controls
- PW:JDM extension, handlebar stem and frame bushings
- ATR lowered seat frame
- Custom LED (turtlehead) taillight
- Shaved frame (only about 170lbs total; was 230lbs stock)
- Pirelli SL26 tires (front is nearly brand new, back still has half of it's tread)

I'm sure there's a few more items, but I have receipts to back all of the parts up! The paint is kind of rough (fell in a driveway while parked), but I can hook you up with a guy in Ocala that does amazing powdercoat work, or just look local for around $250-$300. I weigh 170 with gear, so if you're around the same you won't have any tuning issues. Because this has such light HP and small bore, +/- 20lbs can throw it off, but I have variator weights and carb jets to take of that. There's a growing community of riders around the tampa area (15+) and they ride constantly! I spend barely $8 in gas a week. I also have spare parts and other aftermarket stuff that I could throw in if you wanted.

To be honest, this has been the best hobby I have invested my time in, but my focus is changing to cars and unfortunately I can't afford to start the next one without selling the scooter. There are ALOT of people locally and on totalruckus.com that can back this scooter up, so rest assured that you will be investing in a well built and equally maintained Ruckus! I'd be open to a trade for an EF or EG Honda + cash depending on the condition and parts included. The price of the sale is about the amount of the mods alone, so don't waste my time or yours with some weak ass offer. You can check it out at the Straight Stance show this weekend (05/21).

This pic is from the beginning of the year, so hit me up for more recent stuff. It has a new rear shock, front disc conversion and black grips now.
