Quick question and honest opinion. My Dads '01 V6 ram is acting up BAD! He thinks its the battery. The gauge cluster has the transmission symbol lit up. The car will turn on and turn off right after, and the only way it stays on is if you give it ALOT of gas and keep it above 1k rpm. When you turn it on the car idles at around 600 and goes right off. This is very weird. Also their is considerable noise and it doesnt sound right at all. Please help.
