Easy.. you tell them the car runs 11.50's.. He was then running 1/8 mile to see if his tuneup was spot on.. guess they where more concerned about his 1/4 et/mph.

many years ago I went to Sunshine and got the boot running 6.80-7.00's.. The track official came up and saud " Boy.. need to put a bar in that thing"

Guess tracks are more lax these days :/
