Flip HD, shoots in 1080i... paid $120 new.

and two of these sticky pod mounts.... paid $5 each, shipped off of ebay, many "bad" reviews on them falling off, but i've had some heavy cameras mounted to em, and stuck to windows, interior/exterior, body panels (hood, fenders, and quarters), and have not had ONE fall off, i was rocking three cameras on my car at one time, my FlipHD, and my point and shoot, with my buddy's Sony handycam mounted to his $$$ sticky pod... i've had no issues...

i want to get at least a back half cage so i can run a bolt on mount to the harness/cross bar... but yeah, i got maybe $140 in my entire camera set up, still shoots in HD. hell, i can go get another FlipHD and still be under cost of the entry level GoPro set up...

just my $.02 mang!
Are you really comparing a GoPro to a Flip?
Let's compare with things your "Flip" doesn't do:

Have a bullet lens that can withstand getting the shit beaten out of it
Waterproof
Already comes with pod mount
2.5hrs battery life. Flip is 1.5-2
Hands free auto photocapture
Buy another camera for 100$ and you can film in 3D/2D simultaneously
Battery warmer for winter conditions
Just over 1hr and it's fully charged. Flip takes 2-3hrs.
Aperture 2.8 GoPro, 2.4 for Flip
Oh, and most of all. It doesn't look like you took your girlfriends camera to the track.

+1 on Cycle Gear that's the only local place I know that sells them.
