I wouldn't be too worried about that. Clearly not that it's very scientific but the fact that I've yet to see a single thread on any of the Subaru forums regarding a mechanical 6MT failure. It seems that the engineered weak point is the rear axle which is inexpensive to replace.
People still use 56k? :o
