actually, it runs as is. it can be swapped into a mk2, or mk3 with the stock auto tranny. remove the 3 bolt flange and the mk3 auto yoke slips in. on a mk2, the drive shaft may need to be extended depending what swap mounts you use, and then the mk3 trans yoke assmebly added to the front. ive been thinking hard and came close to doing this on my 86 mk2 for the time being as i already have the mounts to do so. just need something else for a dd as i drive 80 miles a day for work. besides, what i meant by full swap, was that you wont be going to a junkyard trying to find the body plugs to plug into the harness or ignitors, or afm etc.. as all plugs and sensors, etc...are included. this was my dd until the wreck.

now if they want to do the swap with a 5 speed, then yeah, they have more stuff to buy. adaptor plate, flywheel, clutch, clutch release bearing, trans, etc.... depending on what trans/clutch setup they go with, thats another $1k-5k. twin 8.5in quartermaster clutch setup is like $2k wit hthe flywheel, then you need the internal release and adaptor plate for the r154 etc... or just go with a cheap clutch and redrilled celica flywheel and internal slave, or mod the auto bh to allo the stock w58 slave to fit after making a mount for it etc. and use a clutch fork. its all in what you want to do. either way, price for the full setup out of my car im asking $1k obo if i sell it.
