well i bought it knowing it has issues, the guy dropped it in a pool. he had a tokina 100 2.8 on it when he dropped it, i figured if one part of the combo works it'd be a great buy.

the camera powers up but does nothing.
the 100 2.8 has water in it but works... kinda but not really, it's pretty much trashed.

i'm dropping it at a buds shop in charlotte, nc in a few days and let him take a crack at repairing it.


moral of the story sounds too good to be true = too good to be true (so far)


but if it's all trashed them i'm thinking about dropping it during rolling shots, off the boat, let someone push me in a pool at a party, etc.
