Make sure your radiator is getting coolant flowing through it.

-Check and see if the fins are bent and restricting flow
-It might need to be flushed out. You could have a bunch of calcium build up from someone never using anti-freeze. Flush it out, run clean fresh water through it and then try running water wetter.
-Check your cooling fan and make sure its coming on.
