Customer brought in a turbo which was an obvious victim of low cycle fatigue. Turbo has over 300,000 miles before the compressor wheel decided it had enough.

This is how the turbo was brought to us:





Compressor wheel has to be hammered out of the housing. Holset and other OEM manufacturers design their housings to contain compressor bursts in the unit.



After working a little bit of magic....I was able to glue the original wheel back together. Thank you gorilla glue.
