bump im having along the lines of the same problem mine will run but not rev past 4000 if im driving then when i drive it longer than like 25min it deis out i let it sit and then it turns over????? its killing me i have to practice 40min away everyday and school please help!!
that sounds more like the MAF... if the MAf is bad, it will kick over into limp mode and will run like that.
get a known to be good MAf on there, and then reset the ECU and see if that fixes it.
