You should have just made up this cool story about unicorns and gremlins and micro rotary engines. The gremlins should have been driving little rotary powered dune buggy style cars, that they used to hunt, or otherwise, chance down the unicorns. They would kill the unicorn, then drag it by its tail back to hide its body in your fuse box and when they flipped it around, the horn would hit, and bust your fuse.
