Exclamation Spacers are in!!

Here are some pix of a mock up I did to confirm the fitment of the spacers, brakes and wheels. I'll get better pix later as I complete the upgrade to my Skyline Brakes.

Here are the 15mm Ichiba Spacers w/ extended studs I received yesterday evening...

As for the mock up, the rotor is a stock 240sx rotor, which is why you can see the trimmed (and rusty backing plate). I didnt disconnect my stock brakes, just tucked them out of the way so I could find out how the spacers would work out.

Here you can see why the extended lugs are included. Add the hub of the wheels and you have a stud that just barely peeks out of the back of the wheel...no threads to be had @ all. The stock brakes are even or flush with the front of the brake rotor/hub, even with the spacers the R32 Skyline GTR brakes hang over off the front. I antisipate some sick stopping power. Overkill has never ben so safe I guess.

With the wheel mounted (note the stock studs jut barely peeking out from the mounting holes of the wheel) there is a about 4mm of clearance from the spokes of the wheel to the face of the brake. The wheels and tires will ride about as flush as you can get with out a pull I think. If I had coilovers I would more than likely need a roll and may still even with the setup I am running...

And before I get carried away with all the fun stuff I also have a z32 master to install at the same time to keep the feel and the bias of the brakes right where it needs to be.

More to follow...
