I mean.. the work doesn't LOOK bad.. but really..? a cougar?
What's so hard to believe? The Fiero is way outdated and getting too old to be used as a kit car. The cougar makes a good choice for a kit car. You can pick up a NECO real cheap. The interiors in them are very nice. Ahead of it's time, It's very spacious and the back seats can be removed to give it a more sporty feel. Comes with a 2.5l Duratec capable of lots of diffident upgrades. Easily capable of 300+ HP. Make several upgrades with SVT parts and going 3.0 you could even produce more HP. Not a bad car to work with. You can't kill those motors. Stick in a MTX-75 tranny and your good.
Edit: You can beat those motors to death. There not that bad of a platform to work with. In the F&S thread I posted to kit cars that were built off of the Cougar. A Ferrari and a Bugatti. There not hack jobs. They are making actual kits for the cougars. A Ferrari one and a Bugatti one.

The cougars body shape is perfect for it.
