I heard the same here, unless the projectors were designed for the HID kit - the bulbs overheat
I did see a nice CRX with what looked like Acura TL HID's a anti-blind-me-u-stupid reflector and it looked nice and i am sure that he didn;t have problems after installing it right with that in place.
And as overboost article said , and from my own experience driving with GE Blue for 3 weeks now as apposed to the Blue Glass bulbs for 1.5 - the GE's are actually brighter at night.
It's just that blue headlights make reflectors stand out from "the rest of the yellow light" everywhere so u see the road signs and reflectors more. Only because they stand out from other reflections.
What made me switch over back again to GE's for daily driving?
The damn pot holes in the road has been killing my wheels and i can;t see then as well on the road. And 90% of roads i take i know so i dont need to have the speedlimit sign glow at me when i am going on the dark spots of the road like linebaugh.
[I'd still put in the bluez when i am going to go out or chill at Ganday for example]
HID ARE SUPER UBER KOOL , HID are expensive and unreliable for a custom application - unless u spend $800+ and get a dealer to install them right...
