That isn't the point. As you said, the car is ruined. While it was under your care, it was vandalized and then towed off. All I want is the money for what was left on it to sell and that is it. Had you been responsable about it, none of this would have happened. You went back on your word when you said you would contact me in a timely fashon. Obviously, there were things of value left on the vehicle as you are selling the same exact parts (dash/rear interior and disk brake conversion) from a "similer" car for even more than I wanted to sell you the entire shell for. Now, the car is ruined, I have no idea what parts are good or not and I am left with some hunk of crap thanks to you. That is MY situation.
Damn Craig, you're such a dick.
I hope you get some compensation from this asshat without having to jump through hoops but frankly I'd be surprised if anything less than a small claims court would get this guy to fork over the cash.
