I'm sure setting up the ETC throttle body with a twist grip style actuator will be no problem at all, on the transmission, I suggested the newer electronic GM boxes because of the availability of aftermarket standalone controllers for them, which do allow tapshift setups, I dont know of anything available for the nissan auto boxes, and doubt theres something out there, the whole reason there is for the GM stuff is the popularity of different swaps, so the support is there.

Running a 4L60E will be easy, just a bit costly, you'll need an adapter plate and flexplate/flywheel setup, the 4L60E itself, and then a standalone TCU.

Mazworx makes the mount adapter plate and flexplate for you:
