Tammy and I were pretty close. King Crab, Acorn squash soufle, French loaf, deviled eggs, and from our garden, a veggie plate with stuffed celery, carrot sticks, broccoli & cream cheese dip. For dessert, a giant Dutch apple pie and a pecan pie. The pecans were from my 4 pecan trees on my 30 acres in Oklahoma. Most excellent. Later, when my daughter came over, we cracked open a bottle of 1998 Chateau Margaux Bourdeaux (which was totally wasted on me...I'd much rather have had some nice rims for the project) But, the wine was a gift from one of Tammy's clients. He likes her, not me.
Today, lasagna from our next door neighbors. Tomorrow, back to work and some Top Ramen.
