Well i see this site is still good for a laugh every once in a while. Comparing the 3 valve 4.6 to the ls3 is a joke. Also posting about camaro's running mid 13's stock but the new mustang's running low 12's stock... that is another misconception. Funny thing is i saw 3 different stock 5.0 mustangs all running low 13's at the track. Yes on the internet you can read about this and that but that is what i have seen so far first hand. Keep in mind to some people stock means an intake/tune/drag radials, stock to me means delivered that way from the factory. As posted earlier when my SS was bone stock it went 13.1 at 109mph multiple times, those are average real world results. I do agree that for 1/4 mile track performance the new mustang is a better platform and it is already lighter but for an all around car i picked the camaro.
It's kind of hard to compare a 5.7L+ 2v pushrod engine to a 4.6L OHC 3v motor. The bolt on 3v's don't do too badly though, 11's is pretty fast considering.
