I got on his case about the same thing. I tried to explain to him that a stock long block was impossible to see 300hp NA. A 306 with AFR 165 heads would be doing good to make 300hp. He tried to say that because the crank was polished and the upper intake was ported that made it a 'built' motor and 'not stock'.
Now he's trying to get $500 for GT40P heads. I didnt have to heart to tell him that you can buy a complete motor for less than that,..
