you should do that and ull have a beast 600+ whp block. My plan is to part the car, keep 35R turbo and accessories (1000cc injectors, tial gates and bov, prob try and do a nice black anodized cooler for this setup..) add to newer minty s2000, have quick car that is Wayyy more pleasing to the eye (after the hardtops installed) still maintains AC and is overall more enjoyable to drive, dont get me wrong i loved the car, it was and is my baby, but as everything gets older, its time to upgrade to a little newer. and i cant justify an rsx, not my cup o tea...
