LSD=Limited Slip Differential. This will allow you to spin the to front tires.

More like it will allow the car to have better traction.
In an open diff car for instance a FWD civics the torque output to the wheels is limited to the point where one of the wheels begins to lose traction. For instance if you were at the strip and doing a burnout youd notice that one wheel is spinning while the other isnt. This is because the same torque is being applied to both wheels regardless of which has the better traction and since one wheel has already started slipping it doenst take a great amount of torque to keep it spinning (therefore the other wheel is stationary). Now take a car with a limited slip differential (lets say a clutch pack LSD) and take it to the track for some burnouts. Well now youll notice that both wheels are spinning and tossing up smoke. This is because the diff now transfers torque to the wheel that has has the most traction (this little dance goes back and forth between wheels) and the torque applied to the wheel is limited to the point where the clutches in the diff begin to slip. Aside from doing burnouts a LSD is great for cornering since the wheel with better traction is given more power and thereby helps you move around the corner faster and safer. Understand it now?
