the tread design of the kumhos is designed to keep tire temps and road noise down which makes it hard for them to get warm and also the fact that the tire is already a fairly hard compound makes it eveen harder to get them warm. If you want to know why speed daemon and I feel the way we do about these tires find a set of yokohama avs intermediates (kinda hard now since yoko discontinued them those fucking commy bastards) and you wont believe the amount of grip they have almost as much as a race tire yeah wet traction sucks with these things but who cares about wet traction?
