Serviced a GT45V (GTA4502V) turbocharger from a customer's Freight liner with a Detroit Diesel engine a couple of weeks ago. Was only able to take pictures after we serviced the turbo.
This turbo is equipped with VNT (Variable Nozzle Turbo) which adjusts the A/R of the housing on the fly. We service the VNT setups as well as calibrate the VNT actuators in house on all larger turbos to ensure the best possible performance.

Customer's Turbo after being serviced
On this specific turbocharger we performed a full rebuild, rewelded VNT actuator housing from previous shop's JB Weld hack job, adjusted actuator arm position, and thoroughly cleaned and tested the VNT vanes and actuator.
Customer came back today to have us install a new turbine shaft speed sensor on his turbo so I snapped a picture of the turbo on his truck. Between the rebuild and todays visit he has already driven all over the US East coast and has several thousand miles clocked.
We service turbochargers in house from marine, truck, automotive, industrial, agricultural and performance applications.
