Posting in the Honda forum would get a lot of responses, I would expect this thread to be moved there. Is it throwing any codes? How many miles? You may want to change the fuel filter, distributor cap and rotor. Basic maintenance items that may have never been changed. I owned a '99 for a while and the fuel injectors needed to be cleaned at one point. You can check with Kirk on the board, he can probably do them while you wait.
