If Kawasaki did something with the tail, i'd like the 14 alot better. When it first came out, I hated everything about it. I thought the front end looked like a spaceship, and the tail, well I just thought it was fucking ugly.
But the front grew on me, and then I sat on one and loved the feel of it. And wouldn't mind owning one, pending that they re-design the tail, or someone makes a conversion kit to slap a 10r or some other tail on there.
The new Busa's, are very good looking bikes in my opinion. The older ones, are alright looking, but the new ones shit on the old ones in the looks department. I really dont have any complaints about the styling of the new Busa. But, I think it looks really good, with the GSX-R1000 tail conversion kit that they make for it.
I am not spanish. I'm black. If I was spanish, you would know because of all the chrome and the puerto rico or cuban flag stickers that I would undoubtably post all over my ride. No offense to any Puerto Ricans or Cubans but you can't deny that that is what you guys like to do. lol
I agree that if kawasaki changed the styling on the bike a bit more, it could be incredible. If i'm not mistaken, the zx-14 actually has a bit more CC and power than the busa but the overall aesthetics of the 2008+ are undeniable unless you really just hate them. That R1000 Tail kit is bad ass too but a waste of a few grand if you ask me. I think Greggs make the more popular version. Most of the show bikes that I have seen with it done all have single sided swing arms and all the other CubaRican accessories.
I think the pic below is an 08 because they didn't use this color in 09'. Like i said, I am a bit biased now that I have had one for a while. Back in the day, I never would have thought that I would love it so much.
