Maybe since the JB wasnt right in the exit path of the exhaust thats why it survived?? I dont know...I guess if you need to get somewhere and cant stop to fix it right it could be a temporary fix. I figure it would just make it a mess for the guy to weld up. I'll just let it ride as is till that time.

95GTSProject: you hit it right on the head with what i need. The ring welds are letting go. There is no way i'm letting the shop that welded exhaust touch it again. They jacked it all up the 1st time and then charged me to undo the crap job. If I had the proper equipment I would have done it myself. I just know my limitations.

The header did hang low, below the fame rails low, and rather than correcting that issue the first time through they welded in the flex piece i asked for and dropped(!!!) the tubing down to meet the headers end. Only after i came back the follow day and said it was almost undrivable did they shorten the length of the header to pass even with the frame rails. I'm almost certain that the ring welds are letting go due to the frequent run ins with speed-bumps by the lower portion of the header pipe.

Funny though, I was beginning to feel neglected because my thread did say "turbo" on it, and noone wanted to give feed back about my issue. I do have to agree though...welding a turbo to a header is "sexier" than NA welding...lol

Thanks for the replies!!
