True enough... though something as simple as a worn rubber mount can end very very badly. For example, an engine mount failed in my '70 Mustang while simply pulling out into traffic briskly... the motor lifted, tore the upper coolant hose in half and gushed coolant everywhere, while at the same time the air cleaner hit the hood, denting it and causing the carb body to crack and leak fuel all over the intake. Another example is when the stock XR hydraulic mounts fail and sag, they allow the motor to basically sit on top of the steering rack, f'ing up the geometry and killing the rack and tie rods.
