^ I think he wanted to know why your choosing a 1G Maf over a 2G, The 2G maf flows about 20% more and is MUCH easier to tune idle, driveability, and WOT. It will flow significantly more air per unit than a 1G. Which means for each value in your maf table it provides more air per each value listed in the table. You can hack a 1G Maf and there are some people that made some great numbers on it, but by hacking it your going to give yourself a headach tuning it. You will have to add some extra fuel for the air that the car gets without being read completely. It will be a task to tune it well, the 2g maf is much easier
If you need a 2g maf if you no longer have yours, I have a 2g maf with intake and filter, ready to clamp on to your turbo.
