What is the reasoning for fly cutting them? Just because of running 351w heads on a 302? Or a drastic camshaft that will likely never see RPM's that it works best in?

If you're running 351w heads on a 302, you don't need to fly cut the pistons. The valves are almost all the same. (except for I think 1970 heads, but I could be wrong on the specific year. Hurst?)

I see no real reason why you would need to fly cut the pistons.
