People don't understand how much of a bottleneck stock 2JZ cams are. That 592whp SC300 I tuned. His car started at 440whp @ 23lbs. Went to 476whp @ 21lbs. Went to 540whp @ 21lbs. And finally 592whp @ 19lbs. Progression. Finding out what works. What does not work? An exhaust leak pre turbo. Alignment being off. And stock 2JZ cams.
