nothing thats the way i got the motor. i was in the process of banging out the oil pan getting ready to drop in the sr and i found a valve shim in the pan. so i took off the valve cover and found this mess. i orderd the sr off of streetimports so if any of u guys are thinking of buying from them becarfull
yeah well, in selling motors i see it as someone has a contact in japan, they send over a few sr's they go to either venus auto, motorex, or any other places... and iam pretty much thinking the only inspections these engines go through is compression , oil pan, and any missing parts, i doubt that they check internals for anything... so i mean it could be any business that sells crap motors, untill you see these places actuall INSPECTING motors, its anyones bad luck reguardless what company...sucks though hope everything turns out ok...
