Check the slave cylinder fluid. If it sucked some air you will need to bleed the clutch. Does the clutch feel spongy or the pedal sit lower than normal?

Doubtful,.. but check the line. I dont know if they use a rubber hose or a solid conduit. If its going through a hose from the reservoir down to the slave cylinder check to see if the line is not swollen from heat,.. (Long tubes?). If swollen,.. it can cause what your describing. Usually not a problem on new cars,.. but when they get older the line swells from age. But if you put long tubes on,.. or Ford put it too close to the exhaust the line can swell from excessive heat and the clutch will feel spongy and not operate normally.

If none of the above,.. how many miles are on the clutch? Do you run it at the track with sticky tires? Do you slip the clutch a lot? If so your clutch disc may just be worn and needing replacement.
