B16a Head Problems
I've had this problem for a while now ever since I got the car. The valves click really loud, I had a crooked exhaust CAM GEAR, and when I upshift into a higher gear at low rpm and press the gas more than a 1/6th of the way down, it clicks very loud, a wierd sounding click. Pressing the gas more than like 1/6th of the way down also makes this noise in any gear until about 3500+ rpms. I dont rev past 5k because when I do, bad things happen. The spark plug seals will leak, and the cam gear rubber bushing thingy works its way loose and leakes oil down to the header then goes splash. I think this may have been due to the crooked cam gear woobling so fast at that high of an rpm, then when VTEC engages, just fuckes everything up. Also, the car smokes very bad. It doesnt have a cat, but I know that isnt the whole smoke problem. I honestly cant tell what color the smoke is, I'm thinkin grey/black and it smells bad. And Im getting shitty gas mileage. What could be causing this in my b16's head? milled cams? bent valves? bent cam? I need to know and get it fixed asap.
