MR2 clutch problem
I had my clutch, clutch slave, master, and flywheel changed at the end of June. They, coincidentally, were all bad, so they were replaced by a certified mechanic. My clutch pedal has not felt "right" since, maybe, two weeks after getting the work done. It just didn't feel as tight and crisp. I figured the parts were broken in, so I sorta ignored it. I decided to bleed the clutch thinking there might be a little air in the lines. Now there is NO pedal pressure. The pedal comes back, it has no resistance. I used a self bleeder, then called someone over to help bleed, thinking that the bleeder was leaking air. There has been no improvement. I took it to Toyota and they think it's my slave. i'll know tomorrow. Has anyone ever heard of a slave going out that fast? 2 in one year sound very unusual. I'm thinking something else must be causing it to fail. It's a Perfection from Advance Auto Parts.
