there is no bolts or plates that hold the screen, just a rubber strip all around. The screen was put in so tightly there is no way we would get it back in. I had already decided to use a new piece of screen. He wanted to jump through it although I was hesitant because i didn't want him to damage the center cross bar. I am glad I let him do it though. Had me, my wife, and some friends in tears from laughing so hard. We all thought he would just go right through it.
