Seriously this quote, "hes a track racer...when he wins he gets paid...," is the most ridiculous quote simply because you mention he gets paid.
Most of the events Kelvin seems to run are mostly the puerto rican/latino whatever events. The payouts there are like $500.
By the time he pays his expenses, gas for the truck, gas for the car, tires for the car, nitrous for the car, entry fees, food, a room if need be, even if he wins his bracket, he really doesn't make any money.
SO, when someone calls him out to run for $500 on the street, he stands to make a lot more money then when he has to go win his entire bracket.
I understand Kelvin doesn't want to run on the street. Fair enough. You won't ever see me calling him out on the street. If I ever decided to put something together that I believe would make for a good race against something Kelvin owned I would call him out to the track to make some friendly passes.
Now mind you even friendly passes can have wagers made on them, but I'm not going to try to twist his arm to get him to come out on the street to race me for money. I have no problem driving "all that way to Gainesville"
and if I'm going to run for money I better be able to cover the $30 admission.
