My buddy has a 2001 vw passat V6 30v and the problem is its been over heating. If you run the car for one min. water stays full. If you run it for 3 to 5 mins then shut the motor off the coolent res. goes empty and a little pump or something on the passanger side of the car continues running. We can hear water flowing through the hoses but can't find any leaks. Then when you start the car the res. is still empty. We didnt leave the car ruuning just started it for a sec to see if the water returned. Check the oil to see if their is water was in the pan, but the oil is not milky and no water was in the oil. I'm lost, help pls
