Thanks for posting up the pics, folks
and my thanks to Merv for another great event. (solutions
and suggestions at the end of this post)-Bob
Man! God gave me perfect timing. I got there as the cops
were leaving...
I was running about two hours late. Around noon the ranger was putting up the "lot full" sign in the entrance as I was driving in the exit.
I saw a car leaving and figured I would take his spot.........Which I did.......
Later on, as cars were leaving and spaces were opening up,
I helped out the ranger by moving the "lot full" sign to a more
appropriate place behind the Squadron One sign.......nice guy
that I am, I did not charge for that service......
In between the "sign" adventures, I had a great time looking at
cars and shooting the bull with the owners........even won something in the raffle.
Man, that chick in the short red dress with the lace underpants was hot!
I was working under the hood, and my tongue fell out and burned itself
on the valve cover........
Merv, once again you put on a great meet. We should all start looking for
a shaded county park, and reporting back with actual number of parking spaces we counted.
A really innovative idea would be to find a 2nd floor down parking garage for shade, and have a tailgate BBQ.........
If we had an evening meet in a huge parking lot, I bet the nearby
fast food joint would love us........Mickey D's at Best Buy or DQ at Lowes
probably is glad to get the extra evening business. With a receipt in my
pocket, I can prove I am a customer and have a right to be there......-Bob
