FWD setups can get expensive. You can get a Bluebird motor for less than $2K. Then you have to add stuff like FMIC, fuel pump, downpipe, clutch, ECU, etc. You also have to use a US SR20 tranny, I hope you have one. Cost for labor is $1k-$1.5k.

My bro was going to do one in a 97 200sx. $6k worth of parts into the project, we sold the parts and the car and got a 240sx and swapped that instead. Just as fast, easy to find parts, handles better.
