Well, ever since I started schools it's been a bitch to find a job. Everyone wants me, but they all want me full time tech and I need part-time until I'm done with school.
I had an interview today at a Ford dealer. It would be working in the BDC center. It's not really a technician, but it's a foot in the door. Hopefully it all works out. Anyone else work in the BDC of another Ford dealer?
I guess the job basically consists of follow-ups on service. So say you had your car fixed, well 4 days later I'm supposed to call and see how it's going and make sure everything is as it should be. If not, I work out the difference in either bringing the car back in etc. Or giving a free-oil change or service or w/e needed to keep y'all happy. I'm kind of a hands on person so this office thing would be a change, but I think it would be easier to talk to someone like me that knows a good little bit about cars rather some some guy who just reads off a page what to respond.
Just thought I'd share some personal life with you fellow Ford lovers
