uro tuning is on faulkenburg just north of 60 next to I75. Website is urotuning.com Probably have a serious vacuum leak, thats why you're able to start it easy with the intake blocked. The sensors giving the codes might be getting false readings from the botched job. If you don't have a manual yet, go grab a haynes. Eventually you'll need a bently but only if she keeps it and doesn't want to take it to a real mechanic. I would start taking pics of everything you're not sure of and post them up. Somebody will have something similar and should be able to guide you. I have a 2.0 in the race bug, and i still have the stock intake so i might be able to compare the two.
