Yeah tell me about it. This idiot advertises that he does "complete auto repairs" but all he has is a mount and balance machine and a tire machine and 2 lifts. He has destroyed simple things in a lot of my neighbor cars ranging from e-brake assemblies to spark plug wiring. But thats here nor there just stay away from "Adams Tires" in Odessa FL. Ive just been turning the key in the ACC position and back 3 times for the fuel pump to prime. I do it in my Honda when I have no gas and the car doesn't wanna start the first few times lol. I didnt even think about the fact that that doesnt do anything because fuel injectors dont operate in that manner so your right I cant really "flood" the engine. So first I will start by looking around for things that are disconnected. The guy mentioned to my gf when she got the car back that it was difficult for him to install the intake because he had to remove the headlight assembly. And her high beams dont work either now. There is also a pipe that runs off the intake to some sort of collector that sits under the valve cover panel in the front of the engine bay. Well he duck taped that stock pipe thing to the new intake and spray painted it black to blend it in i guess. I saw that crap and I peeled it off and put some rubber IC piping from an old DSM I used to have. Ive also had to re-tighten all the hose clamps every so often. So where is this euro place? And if the codes read those sensors is it saying it needs to be replaced or are they getting an incorrect reading? Im so confused. This is the first time im touching a VW.
