I dont know the name of the motor but its the 2.0 I4. I think its a GLS if im not mistaken. I personally did not install the intake. These 2 boneheads at a local tire shop installed it so they might have ruined the MAF sensor. It has a hard time starting after it hasn't been driven for over 30 minutes. Other than that it seems to run well and under hard acceleration the engine sounds a tad bit louder because of the intake i suppose. The only other odd thing is once it finally starts and goes to idle, I cannot turn the AC on because it will stall out. I first have to drive for just a few seconds then turn it on. I guess that is because the load the AC comp does to the engine drags the power when its trying to sustain itself. Correct me if im wrong. It takes many attempts to start it up. One time it refused to start so i removed one of the couplings on the intake and covered the hole with my hand then had my gf start the car and it started right up no problems. I guess thats because its getting too much air on start up. Could a bypass-valve correct this? Also im priming the fuel pump to aid in starting but I dont want to flood the engine so should I avoid doing that?
